March was an exciting month! The pet calendar contest was a success, raising $1202 for Predators of the Heart in Anacortes. I met with another local dog-loving business owner and took photos of her sweet pup. And reconnected with an old friend while getting updated photos of her dog (and boy how he's grown)!

Not to mention, my parents adopted the sweetest little husky puppy, whom I can't wait to take on all the photo adventures this summer!

Until then though, I love spending time with YOUR dogs. Take a peek at the photos you loved most from those shared in March 2021.

Senior dog Chihuahua sitting among flowers at Point Defiance Park

Number 3 // Dixie - 8 year old Chihuahua

This sweet girl belongs to Elizabeth of Your Dog's Nanny, a local dog sitter in Tacoma. Both were so sweet to meet on this sunny Spring day down at Point Defiance Park. Dixie was just the cutest little dog, and her styling bow-tie is just adorable.

Number 2 // Butterscotch - 1 year old Great Pyrenees

You may not remember this little guy, but Butterscotch was one of the first dogs I had in front of my camera as a professional. But that was last year, right before COVID struck, and he was only a sweet little puppy at the time. My how much has changed in a year.

And there she is, the newest edition to my parent's household, and your top favorite photo from March. The day my parents brought her home, I raced right over to get a couple of photos that night, even though it was a bit later in the day than I would normally like to take photos. Based on your feedback, I'd say it was still a success.
