The Grieving Tree represents the presence of grief in a person's life. The seed may be planted at any time, and grows during a time of loss or anticipatory loss.

The roots hold fast, always present in our lives as grief is never truly gone or "gotten over", simply beneath the surface of our every day as we learn to live with it.

Our grief may at times be more prominent, sometimes even beautiful as we reflect back on the lives we had with our furry loved ones. And at times it may simply be a presence in our day to day, reminding us of what's gone but never forgotten.

Consider the resources within the fruits or flowers of the tree, there to help brighten what may be a dark and stormy day, week, month.

Take what you need, and share with others who may be in need as well.

From the moment they come bounding into our lives, filling it with slobbery kisses and fur, to that moment of final good-byes, pets change our lives in ways we can never even imagine and that we'll never forget.

The bonds we share with them are deeper than any other and last for our entire lives, diminished not by time nor other relationships, for each is as unique as the stars.

A pet is never truly forgotten until it is no longer remembered.
