Barry's Fall Woodland Session - Seattle Cat Photography

Beautiful adventure cat Barry roams the trails in Seattle (when it's not raining of course).

When I first "met" Barry on Instagram and saw how much he loved going on adventures, I reached out to see if he wouldn't mind having some paw-parazzi along for one of his adventures.

Thankfully, his parents answered a big YES PLEASE!

The Story Of Barry

"[Barry's mom] works in a Veterinary ER. One of her coworkers was fostering a family of kittens who's mother didn't make it through childbirth. We had been looking for a kitty to provide some comfort to myself as I battle some health issues of my own, so it was a match made in heaven. His adventurous spirit is exactly what we hoped for and we couldn't be more pleased with Barry."

Barry is described as...

  • Adventurous

  • Hilarious

  • Soft

And oh my goodness, he is SO soft. And does a great job keeping his white fur nice and clean despite all his adventures.

We met on a somewhat gloomy day, perfect for photos, in a little park in West Seattle called Schmitz Park. This was a park that Barry was already pretty familiar with so perfect for our photo session!

Here's what Barry's dad had to say after their session!

"I would highly recommend Marie Wulfram Photography for your pet photography needs. We booked a session for our cat, Barry White Claw, and wanted to let the public know that she's just as good with cats as she is with dogs!

We really appreciated that she met us at a park where Barry was comfortable and she did a really good job getting him used to the camera before we got into anything too serious. She is very friendly and communicated quickly and clearly.

And then there's the actual photography. She got so many beautiful shots of Barry that it was nearly impossible for us to narrow down our purchase. Marie also did a great job editing out Barry's leash and harness from the photographs so he looks so natural and free out in the woods. We are so happy with the results and are confident that you will be too."

To finish off their experience, Barry's parents chose to get this adorable 16x24 framed canvas, along with an album block of their favorite photos.

As cat loving parents, this was the perfect Christmas gifts to themselves.
