The Work I Do and the People It’s Meant For

Full-Service Pet Photography for People Who Love Their Dogs Deeply

There’s something grounding about starting a new year with clarity.

So I want to say this plainly, without dressing it up too much:

What we offer isn’t for everyone.

I offer full-service pet photography for people who feel deeply connected to their dogs, and who know, even if they don’t always say it out loud, that this time matters.

If you’re looking for quick photos or a short mini session with a download link at the end, this may not be the right place.

If you’re looking to preserve your dog’s story with care, intention, and artwork that lasts, you’re exactly where you’re meant to be.

Who I Created This Work For

The people who find their way here usually aren’t looking for “just pictures.”

They’re looking for something steadier. Something meaningful. Something that reflects the bond they’re living inside every day.

If you’re here, chances are you recognize yourself in one of these places.

You Have a Soul Dog

Sometimes it’s a single woman and her soul dog.

The dog who has been there through moves, breakups, career shifts, quiet mornings, and hard seasons. The one who knows your rhythms better than anyone else ever could.

These sessions aren’t about posing perfectly or smiling on command.

They’re about honoring a relationship that has shaped who you are, and documenting it in a way that feels honest, intimate, and true.

Your Dogs Are Your Family

Other times, it’s couples whose dogs are their family. The kids they’d rather have.

You plan your weekends around walks, adventures, and shared routines. Your dogs aren’t accessories to your life, they’re at the center of it.

You want photos that feel like us.

Not stiff.

Not staged.

Not generic.

Just real, warm, and familiar.

You Want a Specialist to Take Care of Everything

And sometimes, it’s simply this:

You want to work with someone who truly understands dogs, and who will take care of both ends of the leash.

You don’t want to worry about whether your dog will be comfortable, overwhelmed, or pushed too far. You don’t want to manage timelines, decisions, or logistics on your own. You want to feel confident that your dog is in capable, patient hands, and that you’re being guided every step of the way.

You value working with a specialist.

  • Someone who knows how to read dogs.

  • Someone who plans thoughtfully.

  • Someone who makes the experience feel smooth, calm, and supported from start to finish.

That’s where my work lives.

What Working With Me Actually Looks Like

I don’t just photograph dogs (or pets in general).

I offer a fully guided pet photography experience, from our first conversation to the finished artwork on your walls.

That means I help you:

  • plan a session that fits your dog’s personality and needs,

  • choose locations that feel calm, safe, and meaningful,

  • work with your dog with our animal-handling assistant,

  • decide on the best photos to treasure,

  • create artwork that truly belongs in your home.

You don’t need a perfectly trained dog.

You don’t need to know how to pose.

You don’t need to figure any of this out alone. I’ll cover most of it for you, and work together on the rest.

If Your Dog Is Shy, Reactive, Older, or Anxious

Many of the dogs I work with are:

  • shy or cautious

  • reactive or easily overstimulated

  • older or slowing down

  • very much their crazy, energetic selves

During your session, we move at your dog’s pace.

Breaks are welcome. Sniffing is allowed. Nervous energy is met with patience, not pressure. And if they need space, we’ll be sure to let them have it.

My job is to notice the small moments:

  • the way your dog leans into you,

  • the glance that feels unmistakably them,

  • the quiet connection you share.

That’s where the real portraits live.

Turning Your Session Into Artwork You Can Live With

After your session, I help you choose custom artwork designed to be part of your everyday life.

Not files that disappear into a folder or endless social media feeds, but tangible pieces you can see and touch:

  • framed wall art

  • albums

  • printed keepsakes

This part matters deeply and is the heart of what we do. Especially if you’ve loved and lost before, or if your dog is entering a slower season of life.

Because when the hard days come, it’s often the physical artwork that holds you steady. The stunning acrylic you pass in the hallway every morning or the album you open on the couch when you want to remember all the little details. They’ll be priceless one day.

Am I the Right Pet Photographer for You and Your Dog?

If you’re looking for something fast, inexpensive, or quantity over emotional quality, this probably won’t feel aligned.

But if you’re craving:

  • a calm, supportive, specialized experience,

  • thoughtful guidance from start to finish,

  • and artwork that preserves your dog’s story with care,

Then there’s a good chance we’ll work well together.

A Gentle Invitation

There’s no rush here.

No pressure to be ready before you’re ready.

Just an open invitation to preserve what matters, while you still can, in a way that feels thoughtful, gentle, and true.

If you’d like to talk about working together, the next step is to reach out.

Filling out the contact form doesn’t lock you into anything—it just opens a conversation. You can tell me about your dog, ask questions, or share what you’re hoping for. From there, we’ll figure out together whether this feels like the right fit.
